Shipping policy — MyTomette

Preparation times

Each tomette is engraved to order in our workshop in the Var. Production time is therefore added to transit time: allow an average of 3 working days for preparation before dispatch. During busy periods (Christmas and New Year, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day), this may take longer; this information will then be shown on the Website.

Delivery times and destinations

Once your parcel has been handed to the carrier, the estimated transit times are as follows:

  • Mainland France : 2 to 4 working days
  • European Union : 4 to 8 working days
  • Switzerland — Colissimo International: 3 to 4 working days
  • United Kingdom — Colissimo International: 3 to 5 working days
  • United States — Colissimo International: 5 to 8 working days
  • Canada — Colissimo International: 4 to 8 working days

International Colissimo transit times are indicative and exclude any customs clearance delays. These times are estimates and run from dispatch, not from the order date. Total time to allow = preparation + transit.

Delivery charges

In mainland France, delivery charges are calculated according to the destination, delivery method and weight. Rates and conditions for free delivery are shown before you confirm your order.

International Mondial Relay delivery

  • Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain (excluding the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla), mainland Portugal and Poland : free delivery to a pickup point or locker on orders of €59 or more.
  • Germany : free home delivery on orders of €59 or more.

Below €59, Mondial Relay charges depend on the destination country and parcel weight. Available delivery methods and their rates are shown before you confirm your order.

International Colissimo delivery

  • Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain (excluding the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla), mainland Portugal, Poland and Germany : €14.99, regardless of the order amount.
  • Other European Union countries (excluding France), Switzerland, the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, the Azores and Madeira : €14.99; free delivery on orders of €79 or more.
  • United Kingdom : €25; free delivery on orders of €99 or more.
  • United States and Canada : €39; free delivery on orders of €169 or more.

These rates are quoted in euros and include VAT. Free-delivery thresholds apply to the total price of the items including VAT after discounts, excluding delivery charges and any customs duties or import taxes. The applicable delivery charge is shown before you confirm your order.

Tracking

As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can track your parcel until it is delivered.

Packaging

As our tomettes are made of terracotta, each piece is carefully packed and protected for transport. If your parcel nevertheless arrives damaged, let us know as soon as you receive it, including photographs, at contact@mytomette.fr : we will make an identical replacement or issue a refund (see our Terms and Conditions of Sale, statutory guarantees).

Delays and special circumstances

The stated delivery times are not guaranteed. We cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carrier, customs formalities or an event of force majeure. In accordance with Article L216-4 of the French Consumer Code, the risk of loss or damage is transferred to you when the parcel is physically handed over to you.

Customs (outside the EU)

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties or import taxes may apply on arrival; these remain your responsibility.

Delivery address

You are responsible for the accuracy of the address you enter. An incorrect or incomplete address may cause a delay or the return of the parcel, for which we cannot be held responsible. As our products are personalised, a charge may be made for reshipping due to an address error.
