Personalised New Baby Gift — Giraffe Name Tile
A personalised gift, laser-engraved in genuine terracotta from Provence. Bring the names and words that matter together on a keepsake.
A giraffe new baby gift, engraved with their name
A giraffe, the baby’s name and their date of birth: this personalised decorative tile keeps the memory of their arrival in a simple composition. A lovely gift for new parents, the Giraffe name tile finds its place on a nursery shelf, next to the first family photos.
Name and date: two fields for your keepsake
The guided personaliser lets you replace the name and the date. “Benjamin” and “01.04.2021” are the examples shown in the photos: enter your own details, then check their spelling and placement in the preview. To change the font, move an element or adapt the layout further, open the expert workshop.
A terracotta tomette or square tile
The terracotta comes from Salernes, in Provence. We laser engrave each order in our workshop in the Var. The shades and grain of the clay may vary from one piece to another.
- Tomette (hexagonal): 12 × 10 cm.
- Square tile: 13 × 13 cm.
- Display: with or without a hanging hole; choose a suitable stand or fixing.
- Preparation: 3 working days before dispatch, plus delivery time.
Choosing your giraffe gift
What can I personalise easily? The name and the date, while keeping the giraffe design. Other adjustments are made in the expert workshop.
Can I give it before the birth? Pick the design in advance, then wait until the name and date are confirmed before ordering a personalised engraving.
Where should it go? On a stable shelf, or hung with a suitable fixing, out of the child’s reach. It is a decorative object, not a toy.
To engrave the length and weight as well, discover the Footprint birth announcement. Browse our personalised new baby gifts and our personalisable tiles.

Your questions about “Giraffe Name”
When will it arrive?
We engrave it to order and dispatch it within 3 working days, often sooner. Then allow 2–3 working days to a pickup point or your door in France (1 working day by Chronopost), and 4–8 working days within the EU. Transit times aren't guaranteed; the estimated date is shown next to the buy button. At busy times, we'll let you know by email if it takes longer.
What if I misspell a name?
Check the preview carefully before ordering. Spotted a mistake? Email contact@mytomette.fr within 24 hours of ordering and we'll correct it before engraving.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send us a photo: if it's damaged in transit or we made a mistake, we'll re-engrave it identically or refund you, even though it's personalised.
Can I return it?
Personalised pieces can't be returned or exchanged (French Consumer Code, art. L221-28), except for defects, breakage or our mistake. That's why the preview shows you the engraving before you buy.
Where can I put it, and how do I hang it?
Solid version: stand it on a shelf or piece of furniture. Hanging version (+€3): it has a hole to hang it from a nail or string. It's a decorative piece for indoors or a sheltered outdoor spot, not a floor tile.
Is it ready to give?
Yes: every tile is wrapped in recycled kraft paper, then packed in a sturdy cardboard box, ready to give as it is. The parcel contains no invoice or price.
Can I have it delivered straight to the recipient?
Yes. At checkout, enter their address or pickup point: the parcel goes out with no invoice or price inside, wrapped in kraft paper and ready to give. Your order confirmation comes to you by email.
Can I add my logo or change the font?
Yes, in our online workshop: upload your logo or drawing and choose from over fifty fonts. From 10 pieces, we create a custom design free of charge.
